Giuliano Hazan Wins
International Culinary
Teaching Award!

On April 14th Giuliano Hazan received the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Award of Excellence for COOKING TEACHER OF THE YEAR at the awards gala in Chicago. Hazan was honored for his effectiveness in communicating an "exceptional knowledge of culinary studies and techniques."
A master of the simple and genuine flavors of Italian food, Hazan's gift for teaching matches his artistry in the kitchen. Hazan teaches hands-on and demonstration-style classes at cooking schools around the country and on television. In Italy he and his wife, Lael, host week-long courses at Villa Giona, a restored Renaissance villa outside Verona. The school, Cooking with Giuliano Hazan, has received rave reviews and was a main feature in Gourmet Magazine.
Giuliano Hazan is the author of three cookbooks, The Classic Pasta Cookbook, Every Night Italian, and How to Cook Italian and appears regularly on NBC's Today Show. His next appearance there will be on April 30 when he will demonstrate simple spring pastas.
